Book a try dive with Manchester Diving Group

Manchester Diving Group (MDG) thanks you for your interest, and before we get on to the booking form, here are a few things you need to know:

• The minimum age for a try dive is sixteen, and under eighteens must be accompanied by a parent or appropriate guardian.
• Try dives cost £20 payable at the beginning of the session and take place at Hough End Leisure Centre on Fridays between 20:00 and 21:00. The session will begin at 19:30 at our clubhouse where you meet the try dive team and be given equipment for the try dive, although you are welcome to bring any appropriately serviced and maintained gear subject to approval by our team.
• You will be accompanied by a trained and experienced club member in a one on one session, and will move at a speed you are comfortable with. There will be a safety officer on poolside at all times overseeing the session.
• In order to take part in a try dive you will be required to complete a declaration of health that will be reviewed by our Medical Officer.
• MDG reserve the right to refuse a try dive request for any reason and at any time.
• MDG is a volunteer run club and relies upon it's members to freely donate their own time to run your try dive session, so whilst we will strive to meet an agreed date for a try dive we cannot guarantee it.
• This experience doesn't constitute training of any type, it is to introduce you scuba diving in the safety and comfort of a swimming pool.
• Photography or filming is not allowed for any try divers, but if you want a memory of your experience any member of try dive team will be happy to take a picture of your experience.
