A quiet afternoon in the pub!
Jim starts the compressor on his first go after watching refill technicians Jo and Peter struggle for several minutes. What a legend! Someone get this guy a beer 🍻
The end of our first day and fills are required, so the portable compressor makes its first appearance of the holiday. The miserable weather doesn't deter fill technicians Jo and Peter from their important work. The rumours that they will not be let back into the building until every cylinder ...gets a 230 bar fill are not true. Or are they?
First dive of the holiday finished, and although we didn't find our way to the A-Frames, we spent a great fourty minutes exploring. Visibility was pretty good and it was a pleasant 8 degrees at the bottom. A great start to a long weekend!
Congratulations go to Chloe, left, for her first open water dive at @capernwraydiving, may this be the first of many!
Thanks go to Martin, our Dive Training Officer and to Peter, Jo and Andy for providing assistance.
Our recent lecture night was a great success thanks to Nick Fecher giving us a lecture on the @rnli an it's history.
We were also pleased to welcome our new friend Alan from @droylsden.sub.aqua.club who attended.
Thanks go to Andy for his delicious curry goat and vegan sweet ...potato and lentil curry.
Our lecture nights are on the first monday of every month and open to anyone who wishes to attend.
L-R: Andy, Lety, Peter, Janet and Joe have met up and impatiently wait for pub food after a long drive!
Peter and Andy have arrived in Scotland for a weekend's diving after an uneventful drive, and are enjoying a pint by Loch Long.
